Level II: Hakomi Skills Training
This training is for those wishing to further their professional training in Hakomi or for those who want to continue the personal development they have experienced in the Level I workshops or previous Level II Trainings. The format consists of five 4-day modules and entails a time commitment of 20 days (132 class-hours) over the course of the training.
The focus in Level II is on using the Hakomi skills learned in Level I for the benefit of others or further developing Level II Skills. This training is a minimum requirement for consideration as a candidate for certification as a Hakomi therapist, or to move in the direction of becoming a teacher, or trainer, which requires participation in several trainings as a student and assistant.
A Certificate of Completion is awarded to Level II students on accumulation of 180 hours (48 from Level I workshops and 132 from Level II training modules and the required Communication Class). Additional hours accrued through peer or study groups, assisting in workshops or clinical sessions with faculty are considered practice hours but do not take the place of the 180 hour requirement from Level I and Level II courses.
