Carol Ladas-Gaskin, MA , LMP, and registered counselor is a certified Hakomi therapist, teacher and trainer, and a Progoff Intensive Journal consultant. She maintains a massage and counseling practice in addition to teaching Hakomi body centered therapy workshops and trainings and Intensive Journal workshops. Carol is a published poet and author of Instant Stress Relief, a book on reflexology and the art of calming down.
Dennis Gaither, MD, brings a varied background in psychiatry, medicine, psychotherapy, and spiritual practice to the Hakomi work, as well as an intention of mindfulness, humor, and Loving Presence. He finds purpose in learning, teaching, and healing in the deepest, truest sense. He loves being outdoors in natural settings, the company of friends, and his two sons.
Lynn Morrison is a certified Hakomi therapist, teacher and trainer who practices in the Woodland Park area of Seattle. Now in her fifth career, Lynn feels that the experience she gained by working in business, government and higher education informs the deep personal work of Hakomi. In addition, Lynn leads a mindfulness based writing group, studies Buddhism, is obsessed with gardening, and lives with her high school sweetheart and a dog named Rufus.
Dave Cole, LMP, is a certified Hakomi therapist, teacher and trainer. He has also studied Internal Family Systems with its creator, Richard Schwartz for two years and is a Licensed Massage Practitioner. When he is not hiking in the canyons of Eastern Washington, writing and enjoying jazz, theater and opera with Carol, he maintains a counseling practice, leads Hakomi workshops and trainings, and does counseling for couples.
Rob Bageant is a graduate of the three-year Higher Ground Hakomi Training with Ron Kurtz and Donna Martin. He is a dedicated Vipassana meditator and an expert in Chinese tea. He is bilingual and multi-cultural, a counselor, computer programmer, translator, and massage therapist – a multi-talented pursuer of dreams currently living aboard an ocean capable sailboat with far-reaching aims.
